J'adore cette série d'animation russe. A l'heure où j'écris ces lignes, il y a en tout 18 épisodes de 6 à 7 minutes environ chacun. Masha est une petite fille qui fait des bêtises qu'un ours vraiment très gentil et très patient supporte, tant bien que mal. C'est très joli, et en langue russe. Je ne le comprends pas mais c'est pas grave. C'est super! Voici un épisode, pour vous faire une idée.

TAKING PART
Did you ever come across somebody doing a job that you have not seen before or do not see every day? Do you already have an idea for a unique work scene or a remarkable profession? Then get out your digital camera and join the LUMIX Award competition. Every month, for the six months of the competition, you can enter your photo to the LUMIX Award. All you have to do is register and upload your digital photo (no scanned photos). The LUMIX Award starts in November 2010 and ends in April 2011.

MONTHLY WINNERS AND FINALISTS
Remember, you can enter one image per month for the competition. If your first submission of the month is rejected, you are free to enter another image for that month. Users can cast their vote for their favourite image from each month. The LUMIX Award jury then creates a shortlist from the 100 most popular pictures and chooses a monthly winner. Heather Fonseca is a fashion illustrator and freelance doll designer living and blogging in Los Angeles. She said: «My name is Heather Fonseca. I am a fashion designer and illustrator. I also design teen fashion dolls, like Barbie. I was one of those kids who was always drawing. When I grew up I entered Otis College of Art and Design and majored in Fashion Design. Not too long after graduating I landed an amazing job – designing clothes for the doll I had spent so much time playing with as a kid - Barbie! While at Mattel I created everything from the yearly low-priced bathing suit doll for little girls to expensive flights of fancy for the adult collector. I designed dolls that were dressed in the most up-to-date fashions and some that were inspired by historical costumes of the world. She said : «I studied ceramics at Camberwell School of Art and Crafts. On leaving college, I ran my own ceramic studio for ten very busy years, selling to high end stores and galleries. However, on taking an allotment in Brighton and exploring the Sussex countryside, I soon started to fill note books with pen drawings of vignettes and details that caught my eye. It wasn't long before I realised that they would make ideal pottery decorations.During my degree, we had made a week long visit to Stoke-On-Trent, the heart of England's pottery industry. The visit was a complete revelation. It has since been a long held wish to decorate Staffordshire bone china. The Rustic designs are my first collection, inspired by my pen drawings. I'm currently working on my second collection on the theme of the Seaside».

Un nouveau film d'animation des studios Ghibli, «Arrietty le petit monde des chapardeurs" réalisé par Hiromasa Yonebayashi. Sa sortie en salle en France est prévue pour le 12 janvier 2011.

Synopsis : «Dans la banlieue de Tokyo, sous le plancher d'une vieille maison perdue au coeur d'un immense jardin, la minuscule Arrietty vit en secret avec sa famille. Ce sont des Chapardeurs. Arrietty connaît les règles : on n'emprunte que ce dont on a besoin, en tellement petite quantité que les habitants de la maison ne s'en aperçoivent pas. Plus important encore, on se méfie du chat, des rats, et interdiction absolue d'être vus par les humains sous peine d'être obligés de déménager et de perdre cet univers miniature fascinant fait d'objets détournés. Arrietty sait tout cela. Pourtant, lorsqu'un jeune garçon, Sho, arrive à la maison pour se reposer avant une grave opération, elle sent que tout sera différent. Entre la jeune fille et celui qu'elle voit comme un géant, commence une aventure et une amitié que personne ne pourra oublier...».

Synopsis : «Dino est un chat qui partage sa vie entre deux maisons. Le jour, il vit avec Zoé, la fille unique de Jeanne, une commissaire de police. La nuit, il escalade les toits de Paris en compagnie de Nico, un cambrioleur d’une grande habileté. Jeanne est sur les dents. Elle doit à la fois arrêter le monte-en-l’air responsable de nombreux vols de bijoux et s’occuper de la surveillance du Colosse de Nairobi, une statue géante convoitée par l’ennemi public numéro un, Victor Costa. Le gangster est également responsable de la mort d’un policier, le mari de Jeanne et père de Zoé. Depuis ce drame, la fillette s’est murée dans le silence et ne dit plus un mot. Les évènements vont se précipiter la nuit où Zoé surprend Costa et sa bande. Une poursuite s’engage jusqu’au petit matin, l’occasion de voir tous les personnages se croiser, s’entraider ou se combattre, jusque sur les toits de Notre-Dame».

Le ridicule TUE 50 millions d'animaux par an : Nouvelle campagne contre la fourrure de la Fondation Brigitte Bardot.
Chaque année, 50 millions d’animaux sont tués, au nom de la mode, pour le commerce de la fourrure. 85 % d’entre eux proviennent d’élevages. Ils sont électrocutés, gazés ou frappés à mort. Aujourd’hui, la fourrure tend à se démocratiser. La Chine, qui en est le premier exportateur au monde, n’a aucune loi de protection des animaux.

A compter du 10 décembre, la Fondation Brigitte Bardot lance une campagne d’information nationale. Affichage, flancs de bus, véhicule itinérant aux couleurs de l’opération.
La campagne, programmée jusqu’à la fin de l’année, est construite autour de la même accroche : «Le ridicule tue… 50 millions d’animaux par an» et déclinée sur trois visuels destinés à interpeller différentes tranches de la population : une femme d’âge mur, un jeune homme et une jeune fille. Tous trois seraient ridicules s’ils portaient un slip en fourrure.
Mais, ne le sont-ils pas déjà tout autant en la revêtant sous des formes plus convenues ?

Pour ne pas se rendre complice de ces pratiques barbares, nous incitons le public à ne pas porter, acheter ou offrir de fourrure.

Comme pour les Jeux Olympiques en Chine, que je n'ai absolument pas regardé - donc boycotté... idem pour ceux de Vancouver.

PETA en appelle au comité olympique organisateur d'aider à mettre un terme au massacre de phoques!
Les yeux sont rivés sur le Canada alors qu'il se prépare à accueillir les Jeux Olympiques d'Hiver 2010. Cette publicité supplémentaire va accroître l'attention ajoutant à la responsabilité d'être un exemple pour le monde. C'est pourquoi nous en appelons au comité olympique organisateur d'aider à arrêter le massacre de phoques canadien.

Au cours du massacre annuel des phoques, des centaines de milliers d'individus sont tirés ou ont le crâne défoncé – tout ça au nom de la « mode ». Les chasseurs de phoques crochètent régulièrement les phoques dans les yeux, les joues ou la gueule pour éviter d'endommager la peau, ils traînent alors les phoques sur la glace, dans de nombreux cas sans même vérifier qu'ils sont inconscients.

Les bébés phoques dont beaucoup ne sont âgés que de quelques semaines, sont tués, ont le crâne défoncé ou sont tirés à bout portant par des chasseurs guidés par le profit et la vénalité. L'anxiété que ressent une maman phoque, alors qu’elle regarde son petit assassiné à quelques pas, est horrible et peut être entendue à travers ses pleurs désespérés et vue à travers ses tentatives de sauver son petit.

Le massacre de phoques de 2009 vient de se terminer mais la campagne de PETA pour mettre un terme au massacre ne fait que commencer. Il est clair que l'abattage des phoques au Canada perd doucement du soutien et de la faveur : cette année, trois quarts des phoques dont l'abattage était programmé ont été épargnés. Nous avons besoin de votre aide pour s'assurer que le gouvernement canadien ne croit pas que les protestations vont s'arrêter uniquement parce que l'abattage a ralenti. Exhortez le Premier Ministre du Canada et le Comité organisateur des Jeux Olympiques de Vancouver d'aider à mettre un terme au massacre à jamais».

Découvrez l'illustratrice allemande Kathrin Jebsen-Marwedel, qui vit à Kiel dans le nord de l'Allemagne. Née en 1965, elle aime dessiner depuis qu'elle est enfant. Elle dessine dans des carnets Moleskine et ses pages sont visibles à Flickr, dans différents groupes dont elle est membre, mais surtout : One Page at a Time.
Si vous voulez en faire partie, voici les consignes : «A group to share images of the pages inside your Moleskine notebooks: artwork, writing, whatever creative expression you are up to between the unassuming black covers of your Moleskine notebook or sketchbook. Please limit your postings to images from the INSIDE of your notebooks, not images (however inspiring) of your notebooks from the outside».

She said : «I can't remember that I've been drawing after finishing my diploma thesis in 1996, since I discovered my first Moleskine Pocket Diary in 2001. I bought it, and first I used it just for inscribing my dates and a short summary of my day, but some day I began to do some drawings from things I've bought or from experiences which I made this day. I had fun with my drawings, because for one thing there was no pressure and nobody told me that my drawings are ugly. I did it just for me. And for another thing I noticed that it was more joyful to browse through an illustrated journal than through a written journal, and it was so much more easy to remember a day when I saw the drawing. So I kept the new habit to draw into my moleskine pocket diary - sometimes a little bit more, sometimes a little bit less. It depends on how many time and leisure I've got. In 2005 I discovered flickr and noticed that there are so many other Moleskine victims who use to draw into their Moleskines. For a few months I was just an observer and was so amazed about all those drawings and the different styles. And the most pleasant was that the people had fun and it isn't their priority to show only absolutely perfect drawings.
